For the first time in my life, I am experiencing uncomfortable and ongoing back pain. It could be that I am sleeping incorrectly and on a bad pillow. It is my upper back on the left side (which of course is behind the heart which is scary) around the shoulder blade area. Feels like a spasm, it just hit me suddenly as I was sitting here typing answers. Please tell me what to do to aid myself until I go to the doc.
Questions: Can back pain come from stress? Can back pain come from sleeping incorrectly? Can back pain signify a heart attack?
The answer to all of your questions is yes. Stress can cause back pain and it can also be caused by a bad mattress and/or bad sleeping posture. There are many other causes of back pain.
The pain caused by a heart attack can radiate from the heart area and be felt in the front of the chest, the back, the arm and even the abdominal area.
You should really see a doctor about the issue, the sooner the better.
A heating pad may help relieve the soreness, but if you’re worried that it could be your heart (and from the symptoms you described here it could, though doubtful) you should head to the ER to have it looked at immediately, as that isn’t something you should be messing around with.

Everything depends on how much money you want to spend.
Prefab kits are usually cheaper, but lack supllies that I like to keep handy. I did notice you’re mission some 4×4 gauze pads, rolled gauze, triangular bandages.

* 3ea Large/Small rolled gauze (nonsterile)
* 4 triangular bandages
* 1 box assorted band-aids
* QuickClot (clotting agent for major bleeding)
* Trauma sheers
* 2ea Cold/Hot packs
* handful of triple antibiotic ointment
* Tweasers
* PeptoBismol
* Benadryl
* Alcohol Prep Pads
* Hydrogen Peroxide
* Pocket Mask (for CPR)
* Oropharyngeal Airway Adjunct (BLS Airway)
* OTC Bronchiodialator (friend has asthma)
* 1 small bottle each: Aspirin, Acetaminophen, Ibuprofen, Aleve.
* 1 jar Icy/Hot or VapoRub
* Handful of bite/string relief ointment packets
* Glucometer kit
* Cake Icing (sugar for diabetics)
* Vomit bag (empty, obviously)
* Blood pressure cuff/stethoscope
* Special hangover relief concoction.
If you have the money, you could probably buy an automatic external defibrilator. I believe those are OTC now. That is, if you have several thousand to blow. It all comes down to money/space and what you want to have in it.
Also, be sure you aren’t exceeding the scope of your care. The Good Samaritan Law will let you practice some limited medical treatment up to a BASIC level. No open heart surgery or C-sections please!
Will a sim card from a t-mobile to go phone work with a unlocked phone?
I have a very old t-mobile to go phone I keep in my car for emergency purposes. But I want to upgrade it so it has a camera. For picture taking in case of car accident.
My question is: If I take the sim card from the old phone, get a unlocked camera phone off e-bay, is it going to work?
And finally, yes I have a cell phone I keep on my body. I just like keeping spare crap in my car. I.e. A full sized spare, a small tent, water, energy bar, homemade first aid kit, flares, handgun, toolbox, airpump and a can of fix-a-flat. I’m sure theres more stuff in the trunk, I just like being squared away. *and being smug about it*

I’m a cadet at st john ambulance and it really is amazing. Not only do u learn first aid and stuff. But they take you out to places like theme parks, camping and leisure stuff. At the end of this month i’m going to a theme park with them. I also finished my photography and radio com courses as well. Oh and you go on duties in public places. It is really quite spectaclular!
I’ve seen 2 different charts for Pell Grant awards, which do I go by?
My EFC is 0 and one chart says that I get $2,675 per semester, the other has different amounts based on the cost of attendance. If I’m going to a community college will I get a lesser amount because it is cheaper?
I was told at the Financial Aid office that my award was $2675, that just seems like alot for a community college.

Go by what the college gives you. You should get a financial aid award letter. Go by that and you will be safe.
