House Cleaners and the Negative Effect on Allergies

Friday, January 30th, 2009

There are some chores that nobody likes to do and cleaning is one of those hideous chores. Yet, if we do not clean, germs will begin to invade every part of our homes spreading bacteria, which can lead to bad things. So, cleaning is very important to do and is highly necessary. But, what about the products we use to clean and how many people are affected by using them.

With all the cleaners we use, some can be very harsh and even harmful to someone who has allergies. Breathing many of the chemicals can be dangerous and cause severe side effects. If someone is cleaning the bathroom and has to breathe the fumes or smell of the cleanser, that person may experience a headache, eye and throat that burns, not being able to breathe too well and possibly nose bleeds. If that happens, that person should go to another area where there is fresh clean air.

Anytime you have to clean with a cleanser, make sure to have a way to have some kind of ventilation, so you can have fresh air to breathe.

First Aid At Work

first aid at work First Aid At Work
Where can I find a First Aid At Work Course run over weekend?

St. John Ambulance don’t do them over weekends anymore, nor do British Red Cross. I live in Manchester but would be willing to travel a little bit. By the way its the 4 day First Aid At Work Course not the refresher. Thanks
Also, I am looking to do this by myself so please don’t suggest an organisation who do it for companies only…

Sorry but the best place is the Red Cross. See if they have one that isn’t that far away. Maybe try to find another ambulance squad.

Hi,

If you go to Kaplan, make sure you go to a branch that is regionally accredited, not nationally accredited. It will make a huge difference in your career. (People who know the accreditation process believe that national accreditation is meaningless). Then here is a step-by-step guide on how you file for financial aid: http://www.ehow.com/how_5396458_financial-aid-online-college-degree.html
