All I got is some johnson cleansing towels that came in a first aid kid what should I do? I stepped on glass and it went kind of deep.
I took the pieceo fglass out
If it’s THAT deep you need to go get an x-ray to make sure all the glass is out. Otherwise you could have some big problems later on!
is it ok for me to teach basic CPR and first aid to students just getting a 3 day seminar, not med students?
I’m a graduate of medicine but have not yet taken the board exam, i just needed the extra money. The employer has no problem hiring me, but students may expect an M.D. This is just a part time job.
Do you have your certification yet? If you do, then I don’t see anything wrong with doing it. Talk to your local hospital or CPR training centre to see if you can. The only problem may be is that if you are licensed to do so, it could create a lot of problems. Also, talk to your professors or another member of your medical school.
It may be better to have a professional who gives CPR certification courses to do it.

In this day and time, the things of the environment seem to do more harm than good. The air on the outside is becoming dirtier and unhealthier all the time. Things like the smoke from cigarettes, ozone, smog, the exhaust from an automobile and other pollutants in the air can have a big impact on people who have allergies or asthma. Asthma can be triggered from allergies, and allergies can be triggered from the environment people breathe every single day.
The effects of the unclean environment on those who are sensitive to the air due to their allergies can experience headaches, throat that burns and begins to feel tight, not being able to breathe good and burning eyes. Some, if not all of these symptoms can intensify with more exposure, so it is very important to get out of the unclean environment and into fresh, clean air.
There are medications that can help with allergies and asthma. See a physician for the help that is need and maybe run some tests to see exactly what can be done. There is always hope.
I can’t find Johnson + Johnson First Aid Cream at Meijer, Target, Family Fare, Rite Aid, or Walgreens. What happened to it!?
Also, when suggesting alternative products, I’m looking for something that dries out what you put it on. Like drying out a blister.
The stuff was worthless on most things. It was basically zinc oxide with vitamin A and D in it. Diaper ointment is the same thing.
so basically i am 16 currently at sixth form and decided a few years ago i wanted to go into the fitness industry such as in a gym helping people use the equipment etc.
i was just wondering where would i start to become one? i was trying to get on a government funded course with lifestyle but as im in education they would not fund it as they put money into colleges to do the course.
do you think i should ring back and mention if i get onto the course i will drop out of college (to be honest i hate going there) or should i try somewhere else.
i have no current qualifications towards this at the moment, but will be doing a first aid course very soon.
sorry if its a bit much to read
There are plenty of potential hurdles for children in work, many of them legal, moms and dads need to be watchful about that. My mother is 60 yrs old and a diabetic patient. 3-4 weeks back she had her leg cut with a sharp edge which resulted in lot of bleeding, after treating her with first aid she seemed to be healed for that time being though. Initially we thought it was just a matter of time that she would be ok as it was nothing serious. But we have yet to observe any noticeable improvement which causes a lot of anxiety to all of us as she is a diabetic patient. Couple of days ago I took her to see a doctor and he prescribed her a 5 -day -course of injection called ‘ceftriaxone’. If the condition remains indifferent even after 5 days then she must get back to him without making any delay as was advised by the doctor. Please share your knowledge/experience on the consequences if there is anything to worry about or is it really serious? Plzz…….
Get back in touch with your doctor and dont take the advise of anyone on here as you have no way of knowing who is who and what their intentions and actual knowledge are.
I seriously doubt that your doctor would have put her back home if it was very serious but on the other hand he should have made sure the family are aware of the side effects and of symptoms to look out for if there are any problems.
You have not explained what your concern actually is, is she struggling to stay awake? Is she infected at the wound? You should really get back in touch with the doctor with your concerns, it’s your mum surely it’s worth the trip if you are worried.

When it rains outside, the air becomes damp and moist. Depending on the time of season, the temperatures will either be cold or hot, sometimes in between. Once the rain is over, the air can seem to be muggy and quite humid in certain areas. This dampness and humidity is what affects many people.
For individuals who suffer with allergies, a rainy day can make them feel very tired and fatigued, weak, nauseated, start to sneeze, cough and wheeze. Some of these symptoms can worsen and should be monitored, because it can easily turn into an asthma attack or something else. An antihistamine is usually what will be needed, but for someone who has asthma or other allergies, a doctor needs to be the one to approve of medication before taking it.
Having regular physical checkups and learning what triggers a reaction to the allergies in the first place is beneficial to the person who is experiencing the symptoms.
He has fleas and we got shampoo for fleas and in the middle of shampooing him he bit my arm really hard, I mean he really sunk his teeth in. Anyways, all the doctors offices are closed and I’m just wondering what I should do for first aid and if it would be too late to get a shot tomorrow?
Cat bites almost always get infected. You could end up with staph, which could kill you if left untreated. Wash the area immediately and thoroughly. Then call a doctor. Cats have disgusting mouths, mostly because of improper diet (commercial cat food is mostly awful).
Cat bites are serious. Please call the emergency room if you don’t believe me. You could get very ill, even if this is an indoor kitten that has never seen the light of day.
Flea shampoo can also kill cats, especially those with pyrethrins. They are also a waste of money and too stressful for the cat. Purchase some frontline. Flea shampoos don’t prevent reinfestation or kill eggs. They don’t stop the fleas in your home and yard from jumping right back on the cat.
Get yourself treated first (you’re not useful to your cat if you’re dead or sick as hell!) After you’re in the clear, please do get some frontline and don’t use any crappy biospot (dangerous) or flea powder or collars because they are toxic, stinky, and a waste of money. Good luck!
